Going deeper into traditional physical practice and conscious breath control.
The practice is built like a frame: we start the class with gentle breathing exercises, then move step by step towards more and more vitalising breathing techniques.
Once the nervous system and the inner heat are awake, the physical practice frees the shoulders, the spine and the chest with chest-opening asanas; builds calm, stability and groundedness with hip-opening and seated asanas; and prepares the turning of attention inwards with inversions.
At the end of the class we work with pranayama techniques again, this time not to vitalise but to release tension, restore balance and quiet the mind.
The mix of exercises and techniques may change with the season and with the needs and experience of the people in the room.
Expect an intermediate-level practice, but beginners who would like to deepen their yoga practice and feel ready to take the next step are warmly welcome too.
The class is taught in Hungarian.
